Each unit records movement on three axes at up to 500 samples per second and records GPS position data every second, where available. Units calibrate themselves and mount using a standard method, so results are comparable across a whole fleet.

The unit checks every sample against your thresholds and raises an alert immediately, without waiting for the data to reach the server. Alerts are designed to reach you within seconds. The platform then confirms each alert against the full data, so your team can see why the alert was raised.

Data reaches the platform every few seconds over cellular or Wi-Fi. If coverage drops, the unit keeps recording and holds the data until the platform confirms it is stored.

Parked equipment hit during shunting, or a crate struck by a forklift, is exactly when monitoring matters. Toltur keeps monitoring while equipment is stationary and captures the seconds before and after any impact so that you can react instantly.
